Mukti Mission

Mukti New Zealand is the local arm of the Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission, a community in India that has cared for vulnerable women and children since 1889. More than 1,500 women and children call Mukti home today, with food, shelter, education, healthcare and family-style care. I worked closely with the Mukti leadership team to design and build the site to make supporting that work simple and clear. A giving gateway handles one-off and ongoing donations, and a sponsorship gateway lets supporters sponsor a girl, boy, woman or granny from $35 a month, with the full amount going to India.

Much of the content was written during the build, keeping the voice warm and personal across the projects, stories and appeals, and there was further work on EDMs and a regular printed newsletter template.
