Asthma New Zealand.
“Sometimes, it’s okay to just be proud. And right now, I’m super proud of what our team has achieved… We launched New Zealand’s first-ever Asthma Awareness Week — a milestone moment in shining a light on a condition that affects over 1 million Kiwis, but is still too often overlooked.”
C. Beard—CEO, Asthma New Zealand
First project, in January 2025, was a brand refresh, developing a design system and setting up guidelines. This was followed by a (one month turn around) complete website redesign and rebuild, carefully hand coded with custom navigation, modules, animations, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM integration (no off the shelf plugin’s or templates) and with tools for staff to make code-free updates as needed (included personalised training). We also are continually monitoring user behaviour and analytics for ongoing CRO (conversion rate optimisation).
Second project was a national awareness campaign filmed at Eden Park Stadium with ambassadors Ardie and Julian Savea, Anika Todd, Mea Motu, and Steve Devine. Shot across two simultaneous filming sets and group activities on the stadium pitch. We then produced brand and video content for the launch of New Zealand’s first-ever Asthma Awareness Week, featured on TVNZ Breakfast, NZ Herald, and Waatea News. This campaign included multiple video deliverables, design assets and an Asthma Awareness Week logo with brand set.
World Freedom Network
As part of World Freedom Network’s repositioning and soft launch at an event they ran for a United Nations conference in New York, we refreshed the brand, tweaking the logo and completely rebuilt their website, along with print material and banners. This had a very positive effect and opened up further opportunities for the global anti-trafficking organisation.
The Way of the Raukura
A full spectrum of creative services supporting a retelling of the Parihaka invasion over two seasons, including at Auckland’s Bruce Mason Centre.
“Phil is a true creative who enters fully into any project he does. As such we really value his advice about how we message things and what comes across well. His material is fully professional and impresses people everywhere we take it.”
S. Worsley—Author, Director
Mission Without Borders
Working with the New Zealand team to craft, an on brand, off-set printed, Mission Without Borders Annual Magazine. From RND, content strategy to design and copy direction. Artwork was carefully designed and produced so that MWB Australia could adapt the files easily for their annual campaign.

“I wholeheartedly recommend Phil Botha for his outstanding creative talent, collaborative approach, and genuine passion for missions. His ability to think outside the box, ask the right questions, and bring fresh ideas to the table resulted in a visually striking and deeply impactful Mission Without Borders magazine that truly reflects our mission’s heart and vision.”
B. Raeburn—National Director
Tectonus
Projects spanning a Blenheim winery shoot, behind-the-scenes with the team at their Penrose workshop, and a comprehensive Megaguide catalogue and more.
Better Packaging Co.
Filmed and produced the pitch that propelled Better Packaging Co. to Ocean Impact Pitchfest 2022 Finalist, spotlighting Pollast!c—the world’s first mailing satchel made from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic that cleans up the environment while breaking the cycle of poverty and plastic pollution.

“We had an amazing experience working with Phil on our video project for Better Packaging Co. Phil’s approach to filming made everyone feel at ease and comfortable — much needed when you’re in front of the camera. He was able to capture the essence of our company and our message and we loved the final video. He was also extremely flexible and accommodating, which made the whole process a breeze and stress-free. I highly recommend Phil for any video production needs and look forward to working with him again in the future.”
